Your choline needs change when your hormones do
Choline is a nutrient your brain runs on. Your body makes some of its own, using an enzyme called PEMT, and the gene for that enzyme is switched on by oestrogen. So when oestrogen dips, the amount you make dips with it, and more of your choline has to come from what you eat.
Researchers at the University of North Carolina put this to the test on a low-choline diet. Around 80% of postmenopausal women showed signs of organ stress, against 43% of premenopausal women. Same diet, different requirement.

Before you buy
Does it taste like mushroom coffee?
No. It is arabica with everything else blended through it, and the collagen we use is hydrolysed so it dissolves rather than sitting on the top of the cup.
How much caffeine is in it?
About 70mg a coffee, from 3g of arabica. A normal coffee is roughly 150mg.
How much collagen is in it?
About 5g a cup, from three sources: hydrolysed bovine, marine and chicken. Three rather than one because they do not all carry the same collagen types.
What is choline, and why is it in my coffee?
Choline is a nutrient your brain runs on, and most people do not get enough of it. An adult needs about 400mg a day. One FORTE gives you 85mg of it, from 400mg of our CogniFlow citicoline, on top of whatever you eat.

Is it halal?
We are not halal certified. Nothing in the formula is alcohol based, but the collagen is bovine, marine and chicken derived, so it is not suitable for vegans and we will not put a certification claim on the page until we hold one.
Can I take it with medication?
